What to Expect:
Photo 11 is about using a camera to make art. Through a large variety of assignments we explore different techniques to make photos more interesting and more artistic. We also explore how to use photo editing software to enhance photos and create digital art.

1. Tech Zone
The Tech Zone Project introduces you to Aperture Control (A) and Shutter Speed (S) modes on your camera. You will use these two modes to develop creative photos and apply the Photoshop Workflow mentioned above.
Typology
Typology is the collection of collections; it's studying the amazing spectrum of variation based on a shared attribute. To get started, review the Typology Project Outline. For this Project, you will be using poster sizing. Use the Photoshop Workflow for Poster Tutorial to properly size your image. You may find the video tutorial Formatting For Posters helpful with this project.
The Historical Timeline
No one can call themselves a true photographer if they aren't familiar with those who came before them. In the History of Photography Project, you will create a PowerPoint outlining the Top 20 Key Historical moments of photography.
Historical Photography
Time to demonstrate your knowledge of both photography and history. In the Historical Photo Recreation Project, you will try to recreate a famous photo. Read the project outline for details.

1. Light Painting
Time to have some fun and get creative! Review the Light Painting Project Outline. After you have reviewed the project, start by looking at examples from the Internet and then complete the pre-journal (planning) entry.
2. Macro Photography
Macro Photography is when we get zoomed in really tight to an object. Making smaller objects like bugs look big in frame is an example. Review the Macro Photography Project Outline to get started.
3. Pick 3
Time to give you the choice to shoot photos of your own interest. Review the Pick 3 Project Outline to get started.
PHOTOSHOP LESSONS
1. Panarama Images
Create 2 panorama images, one of nature and another of architecture using the Panorama Tutorial.
2. Changing Hair Colour
For this tutorial, you need a portrait shot of a person with a good head of hair. In Photoshop, follow the Changing Hair Colour Tutorial. Apply the Photoshop workflow to the photo and hand it in on TEAMS.
3. Layer Mask Effect
For this tutorial, you will combine two photos. In Photoshop, follow the Blending Photos Together tutorial. Apply the Photoshop workflow to the photo and hand it in on TEAMS.
4. Kaleidoscope Effect
For this tutorial, you need a full body shot of a person; you should have one from the Natural Light photography project. In Photoshop, follow the Kaleidoscope Tutorial. Apply the Photoshop workflow to the photo and hand it in on TEAMS.
5. Choose Your Own
